The ATHA Spring Lake group had a 2 day rug camp to learn how to hook fancy stitches that can be incorporated into our hooked pieces. The teacher was Benita Raleigh, who provided her "Hooter the Owl" pattern in our kits . We hooked various patterns into different parts of the owl, all of us using wool in our kits and other fun accent pieces Benita brought along. We learned a lot, and had a great time. Each owl had its own personality when finished ! We also enjoyed the mini rug show she brought along ! ....Thank you very much, Benita !
